The mother of a rape suspect who was shot dead by police in West Bengal on Wednesday (July 8) refused to claim his body.
The suspect, identified by police as Prabhas Mondal, was arrested after the body of an 11-year-old girl was found in a pond on Sunday (July 5), a day after her family reported her missing, according to local media reports.
