The Government of Trinidad and Tobago has signed three Memoranda of Understanding with United States-based organisations aimed at expanding the country's digital infrastructure and revitalising its industrial sector.
The agreements, signed on behalf of the Government by Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Minister Sean Sobers, establish frameworks for cooperation in three key areas: the development of large-scale data centres, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and the refurbishment and recommissioning of the iron and steel plant at Point Lisas.
