[ New 3D Audio] Zinal is the starting point for many mountain ascents and climbing tours – and it has guaranteed snow during the winter. It includes a many different freeride options. Before the village became a tourist destination 150 years ago, the ‘Anniviards’ used to rest with their herds in the settlement of Zinal, with its typical houses made of larch wood, before continuing their journey from the valley up to the high alpine pastures.
