Charges laid following alleged fatal stabbing in Lake Macquarie

Just after 4am on April 19, 2026 emergency services were called to Montgomery Street in Argenton where they found a 38-year-old man with stab wounds. At 6am on Wednesday July 15, 2026, detectives arrested a 22-year-old man in Birmingham Gardens.
