When we finished DSB in 2015, I didn't have any money left over for film festivals or marketing.
I was burnt out and the bills were due. I didn't make another narrative film of my own till 2023.
Writing became my outlet since there was no need for a budget and I focused on marketing, recaps, and anything else that actually paid.
