A public rift has emerged within the Prison Officers' Association over a letter questioning the treatment of detained businessman Dominic Hadeed which has led to Prison Commissioner Carlos Corraspe being sent on leave.
The Association's President says the correspondence was sent without his knowledge or approval, while the Association itself has now defended the General Secretary's actions.
