Historic Wolverhampton hotel faces demolition again under Lidl plans

Lidl has reapplied to demolish the empty former Goldthorn Hotel on Penn Road and replace it with a supermarket. Previous plans attracted dozens of objections and a petition opposing the loss of the historic building.
