Mickie D's Unicorn — Mickie D's Unicorn 1979 (Germany, Krautrock-Electronic)
Musician and composer from Berlin. He was a member of the bands Agitation Free, Ash Ra Tempel, Metropolis, and Albatros Concerts. He has worked with Timothy Leary, Michael Hoenig, and Michael Shrieve. He also became "famous" when Ash Ra Tempel played a benefit concert for him in Switzerland in 1979, raising money to bail Mickie out of prison after he was accused of hashish smuggling. Mickie D also records numerous soundtracks for feature films and television documentaries. His versatility is evidenced by his participation in projects as diverse as the Berlin Ukulele Orchestra and his guitar work on a single by German industrial gurus KMFDM.
