The Marauder, an autonomous surface vessel developed by Saronic, has been filmed during a new phase of sea trials. Measuring 180 feet, approximately 55 meters, the vessel was designed to transport cargo and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
According to the manufacturer, the Marauder can carry up to 150 metric tons in ISO containers, achieve a range of 5,400 nautical miles, and travel at speeds exceeding 25 knots. The trials are evaluating the vessel’s performance, control systems, and ability to conduct logistics, commercial, and defense missions.
