दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर नीट (NEET) परीक्षा में अनियमितताओं के आरोप लगाते हुए पिछले 20 दिनों से आमरण अनशन पर बैठे मशहूर सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता सोनम वांगचुक को दिल्ली पुलिस ने शनिवार तड़के धरना स्थल से हटा दिया। पुलिस की एक बड़ी टीम ने सुबह-सुबह मौके पर पहुंचकर उन्हें हिरासत में लिया और तुरंत अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया है। मौके पर मौजूद लोगों ने बताया की कैसे मेडिकल टीम बना कर आई पुलिस सोनम वांगचुक को टांग कर अपने साथ ले गई
Early Saturday morning, the Delhi Police removed renowned social activist Sonam Wangchuk from the protest site at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, where he had been on a fast-unto-death for the past 20 days alleging irregularities in the NEET examination. A large police team arrived at the scene, took him into custody, and immediately admitted him to a hospital. Eyewitnesses recounted how the police, accompanied by a medical team, carried Sonam Wangchuk away.
