The video shows huge flames racing through the vegetation, with thick smoke billowing high into the sky as the fire consumes the landscape.
Residents watch in disbelief from a safe distance, filming the intense blaze as it lights up the hillside.
The scale of the wildfire leaves Arthur's Seat almost entirely engulfed, creating a striking and alarming scene.
The dramatic footage was shared online on July 20th as the incident was taking place.
Blair said: "Massive Flames as there is a wildfire happening at Arthur’s Seat. the hill was a complete blaze."
