Mumbai, Maharashtra: In an exclusive interview with IANS, Bollywood actor Johny Lever, along with his children actress-comedian Jamie Lever and Jessey Lever, shared their happiness for Akshara Haasan’s film Simulacra. Johny expressed his desire for the film to be a blockbuster and loved by audiences. Jamie then shared her opinion that sci-fi films cater to a niche audience, but said viewers are now getting something fresh and she hopes the film performs well. Jessey added that many people avoid sci-fi movies and walk out of theatres, citing the example of Hollywood’s The Odyssey. He stated that India too has a huge audience for this genre. Johny and Jamie also spoke about knowing where to draw the line while doing comedy. Finally, in a satirical tone, Johny said that by next year all three of them will be seen doing stand-up comedy.
