सरकार और सोनम वांगचुक के बीच जारी बातचीत के बाद उनके अनशन के समाप्त होने की संभावना काफी बढ़ गई है। वांगचुक ने स्पष्ट रूप से कहा है कि यदि सरकार उन्हें लिखित आश्वासन देती है कि परीक्षा में कथित अनियमितताओं के खिलाफ शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन करने वाले छात्रों के खिलाफ किसी प्रकार की दंडात्मक, पुलिस या कानूनी कार्रवाई नहीं की जाएगी, तो वह तत्काल अपना अनशन समाप्त कर देंगे। इस गतिरोध को खत्म करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने सक्रिय पहल की है। केंद्रीय मंत्री जेपी नड्डा और डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह ने गुरुग्राम स्थित मेदांता अस्पताल में वांगचुक से मुलाकात कर उनकी चिंताओं पर चर्चा की। दोनों नेताओं ने भरोसा दिलाया कि सरकार शिक्षा सुधारों और परीक्षा प्रणाली में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए गंभीरता से काम कर रही है। यदि सरकार उनकी प्रमुख मांग स्वीकार कर लिखित आश्वासन देती है, तो न केवल उनका अनशन समाप्त होगा, बल्कि शिक्षा व्यवस्था में सुधार और छात्रों के हितों से जुड़े मुद्दों पर सकारात्मक संवाद का रास्ता भी खुलेगा।
Following the ongoing talks between the government and Sonam Wangchuk, the possibility of ending his hunger strike has increased significantly. Wangchuk has made it clear that he will immediately call off his fast if the government provides a written assurance that no punitive, police, or legal action will be taken against students who peacefully protested against the alleged irregularities in the examination process. To resolve the deadlock, the central government has taken the initiative by engaging in direct dialogue. Union Ministers J.P. Nadda and Dr. Jitendra Singh visited Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, where he is currently admitted, and discussed his concerns.
