Voluntary assisted dying is set to become legal in all Australian jurisdictions next month with proposed laws in the Northern Territory securing the numbers to pass. Today the attorney-general gave notice the bill will be introduced to parliament tomorrow, with a conscience vote set for August. It comes 30 years after the NT legislated nation-leading euthanasia laws which the federal parliament quickly overturned.
