The Chief Justice of India (CJI) issued a stern warning to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and local administration over the indefinite closure of 16 metro stations, including the Supreme Court station, due to protests at Jantar Mantar. Expressing concern over the inconvenience faced by lawyers and the public, the Supreme Court gave an ultimatum until lunchtime to resolve the issue, failing which judicial orders would be passed to restore access.
