Visitor Insights analysis found Birmingham footfall was nineteen per cent lower than in twenty twenty-two, when the Commonwealth Games boosted visitor numbers. We visited Mere Green to ask locals whether they still go into the city centre, what they like about it and, if they have stopped visiting, why they no longer go.
