For mental health awareness month on Macro Beauty, we follow a client who will be doing an emotional freedom technique (EFT) session with expert Jackie Viramontez. EFT, also known as tapping, is an acupressure treatment that is thought to reduce stress, cure phobias, calm anxiety, and more. Her client is hoping to change the way to talks to herself about her body and her acne, and learn to silence her inner critic. (EFT is intended to help treat the symptoms of stress and anxiety, but is not a tool for diagnosing mental health conditions.)
