Spring has come to my quiet village. Today, I cooked duck with potatoes in a cast-iron cauldron over an open fire, enjoying the fresh air and birdsong. Later, I made a flowerbed and planted spring flowers beside my old village house. Living off grid in the Ukrainian countryside brings me peace and joy — just me, nature, and the simple beauty of rural life.
