This study tracked 117,025 women over an average span of 14.5 years, revealing a 20% decrease in the likelihood of cardiovascular ailments and a 44% reduction in heart attack incidence among those who regularly participate in strength training. The combination of resistance workouts and aerobic exercises yielded the most substantial advantages, underscoring the increasing importance of strength training in the prevention of heart disease over the long term.
