The Garnitzenklamm is a nature experience in the Carinthian Gailtal. Not far from Hermagor, near Möderndorf, the Garnitzenbach has dug a 4.5 km long gorge into the rock of the Carnic Alps over the course of history, creating a breathtaking natural jewel.
Thundering waterfalls, steep rock walls, emerald green bays, colorful rock and rock formations, spectacular climbing facilities as well as rare, protected plants and whirlpools formed over millions of years make the gorge one of the most beautiful in the Alps.
