Are gnats hanging over dinner, or are mosquitoes sending you indoors early? Can a solar zapper pull them away from the table without sprays or smoke? In this NovaVolt review I staked a solar zapper past my patio table for a summer.
NovaVolt solar insect zapper uses a 365 nanometer ultra violet light to draw insects toward a 4,500 volt grid. It charges in day light, has no cord, and a full battery ran for up to sixteen hours during the evenings I used it. I hung it from a tree after moving it three times in the first week.
It suits patio meals, campsites with no power, and sheds where a cord is not an option. It also suits anyone who wants clear air at the table and no repellent on their skin or smoke from a coil.
Direct sun light is part of the deal. After a couple of days in a shaded corner, the battery run time dropped, so the panel needs a sunny spot and an occasional wipe.
What you'll learn:
✔ How the 365 nanometer ultra violet light and 4,500 volt grid draw insects away from seating
✔ Why placing it several meters from the table and down wind changes where mosquitoes travel
✔ How up to sixteen hours of battery time held up through summer evenings
✔ The shade and placement downsides some NovaVolt Reviews leave out
✔ Whether the tray, rinse cleaning, and nothing to refill fit your patio routine
Thanks for checking out this NovaVolt review.
