FAMILY RESCUES BABY SKUNK TRAPPED IN SWIMMING POOL

Check out this heartwarming rescue after a family discovered a baby skunk struggling to escape from their backyard swimming pool.
Ashley Ryan, from Cranston, Rhode Island, USA, found the frightened animal trapped in the water after stepping outside one morning.
The video shows the exhausted skunk paddling along the pool's edge, unable to climb out on the slippery sides. Thinking quickly, the family lowers a long pool skimmer into the water, creating a makeshift escape route.
The tiny skunk carefully grips the pole, climbs to safety, and scampers back across the yard before disappearing into the nearby woods.
Ashley said: “We walked outside this morning and found this little guy stuck in our pool. Thankfully, he was still alive, and after giving him a way out, he climbed to safety and wandered back into the woods. We’re so glad this story had a happy ending.”
Viewers praised the family for helping the stranded animal.
