The real-life Birmingham pub said to have inspired The Garrison in Peaky Blinders could reopen after more than a decade.
Birmingham City Council wants to protect the Garrison Lane landmark from development that could prevent its return as a pub. It has also placed the building on a proposed Peaky Loop heritage route through Digbeth.
The plan does not guarantee a reopening, but it could give one of Birmingham’s best-known television-linked venues a route back to its original use.
