In a poignant display of compassion, Truro local Lexis G. captures the efforts to save a gravely injured baby bunny. While working at Head of the Meadow beach, Lexis and a colleague spotted the distressed animal in the roadway. After providing care, including a wash and hydration, they observed some improvement, but the situation took a turn. Despite their best efforts to rehabilitate the bunny, a visit to the veterinarian revealed the tragic outcome, with the bunny passing away the following day.
