Building Bridges Through Sustainable Business Cooperation
At GPCCI, Erik works as a Trade Promotion Consultant, supporting German companies and Philippine partners through market development, business matchmaking and international cooperation. His work has included projects involving water infrastructure, packaging machinery, medical technology and other specialised sectors. He has also served as a contact person for German business missions and B2B programmes connecting international companies with Philippine organisations.
His professional focus reflects an understanding that sustainable development requires more than technological solutions. It also requires strong partnerships, knowledge sharing, investment and meaningful cooperation between organisations and countries.
Advancing Green Technology and Sustainable Infrastructure
Erik has developed particular interest in green technologies and sustainable infrastructure. As a GreenTech Agent, he completed training covering circular economy, water and wastewater management, and green hydrogen. He has explored practical opportunities for the Philippines to strengthen recycling systems, improve water and wastewater management, develop renewable energy capacity and advance more sustainable infrastructure.
His work in water technology has included supporting German-Philippine cooperation and business missions focused on innovative water solutions. Through this work, he helps bring technical knowledge, international expertise and potential partnerships together to address important infrastructure challenges.
