Following closely are Iceland and Denmark, with growth rates of 11% and 8%, respectively, reflecting a trend towards destinations rich in culture and natural experiences. Although Spain continues to be the most sought-after and booked destination in Europe, the overall passenger traffic on the continent saw a rise of 2.3%, while hotel occupancy reached 80% during the peak in September 2025. Analysts indicate that evolving traveler preferences are transforming the tourism dynamics in Europe.
