Otodus megalodon - the largest shark ever - is already something of a show stopper in prehistoric discourse. Its sheer size and awesome abilities as an apex predator have, incredibly, made this immense fish more famous than most dinosaurs.
For a long while, scientists estimated that megalodon reached lengths of between fifteen and twenty metres; but these sizes have actually increased in recent
years. Now, a new study concerning a long-lost megalodon fossil has indeed confirmed that this shark WAS even bigger than once believed.
