Canberra tow truck operators say increase in abandoned vehicle callouts likely caused by rising costs

The ACT government says it aims to get abandoned vehicles off Canberra roads within days but, in reality, it's taking a lot longer. It's as tow operators report rising numbers of dumped cars linked to financial pressures, and uninsured motorists.
