Wildfires continue to threaten Greece as flames flared up again west of Athens, despite easing winds and the deployment of helicopters and water-bombing aircraft. The blaze near Megara has changed direction multiple times, moving dangerously close to industrial areas and forcing firefighters to battle active hotspots around the clock. More than 450 firefighters, supported by 12 helicopters and 16 water-bombing aircraft, remain on the front lines.
