Locals in Maidstone are demanding stricter planning regulations in response to the house of multiple occupancy springing up on their streets.
While not illegal, the work being carried out on new HMOs on Queens Road and West walk caused disruption and damage in the local area
But while the local council says they are looking at measures to restrict development, there's currently nothing stopping these conversions taking place.
