The major union is warning dozens of jobs could be on the line as kent fire and rescue prepares for a vote on service cuts this Thursday.
At a noisy protest outside county hall, firefighters called for the fire authority not to push out proposals to close on-call stations to consultation.
But Kent fire and rescue say phasing out part-time staff would be more effective in meeting gaps in demand.
