‘INAAWAY MO KO LAGI'
On Wednesday, August 05, Senator-judge Imee Marcos questioned former COA-ICFAO state auditor Roderick Wamil during the impeachment trial after repeatedly asking for a "yes" or "no" answer about who should be held accountable for the use of confidential funds.
Wamil maintained that accountability does not rest solely with the Special Disbursing Officer, explaining that the head of the agency is also responsible for ensuring compliance with government rules and regulations. (Video courtesy of Senate of the Philippines)
