Astronauts on Aug. 6, 2026 complete a US spacewalk outside the International Space Station, concluding the excursion after 6 hours and 27 minutes. NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Anil Menon took part in the spacewalk, which was aimed at preparing the station's exterior for the installation of roll-out solar arrays, according to NASA. The new arrays will provide the station with additional power for operations and are scheduled for delivery later this year, NASA said.
