Bird competitions at this year's Royal Adelaide Show won't be going ahead as cases of bird flu in the state continue to rise. The state has now recorded 119 positive cases up from 87 yesterday. South Australia's Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society works with about 150 poultry exhibitors and volunteers. Chief executive Will Rayner says the risk remains low but all precautions will be taken to prevent the potential spread of the deadly virus.
