तेहरान से आई एक तीखी प्रतिक्रिया ने मिडिल ईस्ट की राजनीति में हलचल बढ़ा दी है। मक्का में सऊदी अरब, पाकिस्तान और तुर्किए के बीच हुए कथित संयुक्त रक्षा समझौते पर ईरान ने कड़ा विरोध जताया है। ईरानी सांसद इब्राहिम रजाई ने सऊदी अरब को अपनी नीतियां बदलने और कागजी समझौतों के जरिए सुरक्षा तलाशना बंद करने की सलाह दी। इस समझौते के तहत किसी एक सदस्य देश पर हमला होने की स्थिति में उसे तीनों देशों पर हमला माना जाएगा। ऐसे में सऊदी की आर्थिक ताकत, पाकिस्तान की सैन्य क्षमता और तुर्किए की आधुनिक रक्षा तकनीक का मेल क्षेत्रीय शक्ति संतुलन को प्रभावित कर सकता है। हालांकि, सऊदी अरब और तुर्किए इसे रक्षात्मक समझौता बता रहे हैं। ईरान को आशंका है कि इससे उसके आसपास नया रणनीतिक गठबंधन मजबूत हो सकता है। अब सवाल है कि यह समझौता क्षेत्र में स्थिरता लाएगा या तनाव और बढ़ाएगा?
A sharp reaction from Tehran has stirred tensions across Middle East geopolitics. Iran has strongly opposed the reported joint defence agreement between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Türkiye signed in Mecca. Iranian parliamentarian Ebrahim Rezaei reportedly urged Saudi Arabia to change its policies and stop seeking security through “paper agreements.” Under the reported pact, an attack on any one of the three member states would be considered an attack on all three. The combination of Saudi Arabia’s economic power, Pakistan’s military strength, and Türkiye’s advanced defence technology could significantly impact the regional balance of power. However, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye have described the agreement as defensive in nature.
