दिल्ली-एनसीआर में शनिवार की मूसलधार बारिश के बाद मौसम विभाग ने अगले तीन दिनों तक भारी बारिश की चेतावनी जारी की है। दिल्ली में अगले दो दिनों के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट है, जबकि तेज हवाओं के साथ हल्की से मध्यम बारिश जारी रहने का अनुमान है। अगस्त के शुरुआती सात दिनों में दिल्ली में 127 मिमी बारिश दर्ज हुई है, जो 2011 के बाद इस अवधि की सबसे अधिक बारिश बताई जा रही है। बारिश के चलते ओखला मोड़, लाल किला, नोएडा सेक्टर-16, 18, महामाया फ्लाईओवर और गुरुग्राम समेत कई इलाकों में जलभराव और लंबा ट्रैफिक जाम देखने को मिला। सरिता विहार में तेज बहाव में 18 वर्षीय युवक के बहने की दुखद घटना भी सामने आई। बढ़ते यमुना जलस्तर को देखते हुए कालिंदी कुंज के भोला घाट पर NDRF की टीमें तैनात हैं। प्रशासन ने लोगों से सतर्क रहने और जलभराव वाले रास्तों से बचने की अपील की है।

An Orange Alert remains in effect for Delhi for the next two days, with light to moderate rain and strong winds expected to continue. Delhi recorded 127 mm of rainfall during the first seven days of August, reportedly the highest rainfall for this period since 2011. Several areas, including Okhla Mor, Red Fort, Noida Sectors 16 and 18, the Mahamaya Flyover, and parts of Gurugram, witnessed severe waterlogging and long traffic jams. In a tragic incident, an 18-year-old youth was swept away by strong currents near a drain in Sarita Vihar. Meanwhile, rising water levels in the Yamuna have prompted the deployment of NDRF teams at Bhola Ghat near Kalindi Kunj. Authorities have advised residents to remain alert and avoid waterlogged routes.
