Dear Friends,
A couple of years ago whilst filming the Hidden Wonders of Europe series, Greece episode, for Nat Geo Wild (a series produced by Off The Fence Productions) I was asked by the production company if I could shoot a story about these little Alpine Newts which inhabited the high altitude ponds in the mountains and forests of Northwestern Greece.
I jumped at the opportunity but not being an underwater specialist I had to improvise how I would actually achieve this. Watch the intro to hear how I went about it and then the short showreel I put together of some of the footage.
This is not the sequence the company put together for the episode that was aired but rather my own take on the story I filmed for them.
