COUPLE RESCUES INJURED HAWK AFTER MISTAKING IT FOR A CROW

Check out this heartwarming wildlife rescue as a couple comes to the aid of an injured bird they first believed was a crow.
Amy Toy, from Wildomar, California, USA, was walking her puppy on Monday evening when she spotted a large bird sitting on the ground that appeared unable to fly.
The video shows Amy and her husband carefully approaching the bird before realising it is actually a hawk.
They gently place the hawk into a crate before transporting it to an emergency veterinary clinic to ensure it receives the care it needs.
Amy said she first thought the bird was an injured crow, but as they got closer they realised it was a hawk.
With coyotes howling in the background, the couple knew they had to act quickly to get the bird somewhere safe.
The hawk was later taken to an emergency vet before being transferred to a wildlife rehabilitation centre the following day.
