idley Scott joins Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, and the cast for a special look at the making of The Dog Stars. The featurette explores bringing Peter Heller's acclaimed novel to the screen and creating the film's stark post-apocalyptic world, where survival and the search for human connection go hand in hand.
Elordi stars as Hig, a young pilot who has built an isolated existence with military survivalist Bangley, played by Brolin, after society collapses. When a mysterious radio transmission offers the possibility of something more, Hig ventures beyond the safety of their homestead in search of the hope and humanity he still believes are out there.
Directed by Ridley Scott, the film also stars Allison Janney, Benedict Wong, and Guy Pearce.
The Dog Stars arrives in theaters August 28, 2026.
