Imee Marcos questions Pax Silica joint venture
Sen. Imee Marcos on Aug. 12, 2026 questions the proposed joint venture linked to Pax Silica and the alleged draft architecture of an Economic Security Corridor framework in the Philippines. During a Senate press conference, Marcos showed an alleged document being circulated by the Department of Justice that she claimed contained provisions that could compromise the country’s sovereignty.
