Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong is brushing off the lack of endorsements from prominent progressive figures Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the Democratic primary race heats up.
Asked about not receiving an endorsement from Sanders or Ocasio-Cortez, Hong said her focus is on reaching every voter in Wisconsin before the polls close.
The comments come as Hong continues campaigning across Wisconsin and works to build support ahead of the primary. The missing endorsements have drawn attention because of Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez’s influence among progressive voters.
