Minister Nagendra Hits Back at BJP: ‘They Can’t Tolerate Dalits & Backward Classes Rising’
ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸದನ (Session) ನಡೆಯಲು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕುರಿತು ಕೊಪ್ಪಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ದಲಿತರು ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರನ್ನು ತುಳಿಯುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದಲೇ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಆರೋಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದಲಿತರು, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದವರು ಬೆಳೆಯಬಾರದು ಎಂಬ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರು ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಿಟ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಲು ನಾವು ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧರಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.
Speaking to the media in Koppal over BJP leaders’ warning that the Assembly session would not be allowed to function unless Minister Nagendra resigns, the minister hit back at the opposition.
Nagendra alleged that BJP leaders cannot tolerate the political growth of Dalits and backward classes and are making allegations against him with the intention of sidelining them. He said they are ready to give a strong response to the BJP in the Assembly.
