In August 2016, my husband enlisted in the Navy, leading us to relocate away from our family. For over two years, our nephews hadn’t had the chance to see him in person. After his deployment in April 2018, he returned home in December 2018. Throughout that time, the boys expressed their concern for Uncle Eric, often stating that 'no bad guys better mess with him!'
