The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Thursday, Aug. 13, that it is coordinating with Philippine diplomatic posts in China to verify reports that more than 100 Filipinos have been arrested by Chinese authorities.
The DFA said it is working with the Philippine Embassy in Beijing and consulates-general in China to determine the circumstances of the arrests, the exact number of Filipinos apprehended, and their current status.
