Something smells delicious to Newman, and he's convinced Jerry must be cooking. The aroma is tempting enough that he's even willing to bury the hatchet with his longtime nemesis to find out what's on the menu.
Jerry quickly realizes the smell isn't coming from his kitchen—it's Kramer. After spending hours on the roof basking in the hot sun with butter slathered on his skin, Kramer has essentially slow-cooked himself. When Jerry and Newman finally find him, Kramer confirms the obvious: "Stick a fork in me, Jerry, I'm done!"
