The Transport Ministry expects all the 10 train sets to be running at a full capacity when the first phase of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) connecting Kota Baru to Gombak begins operations possibly by December this year or January next year.
Ten trains with a capacity of 425 passengers each will be utilised. The ECRL project has now recorded an overall progress of 95.08% as of July for Phase 1.
