Former CM Siddaramaiah Takes the Last Row Seat in Karnataka Assembly
ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನದ ಕಲಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರಾದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ಆಡಳಿತ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಆಸನದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನರಾದರು. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಮೈತ್ರಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವೇಳೆಯೂ ಅವರು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದರು. ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನರಾಗಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಸಭಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದ ನಂತರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸೀಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿಎಂ ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಬಳಿಕ ಆಡಳಿತ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೀ ಶಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah attended the second day of the Assembly session and took a seat in the last row on the ruling party benches. During the Congress-JDS coalition government, he had also sat in the back rows.
As Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah occupied the front seats as the Leader of the House, and he continued to sit in the front rows when he served as the Leader of the Opposition. Now, after stepping down from the Chief Minister’s position, he is seated in the last row as a regular MLA, drawing attention during the Assembly proceedings.
