2017 में बिहार के बेगूसराय ज़िले के बारो गाँव में हिन्दुओं और मुसलामानों के बीच एक दंगा हुआ था। चलचित्र अभियान के साथ हुई बातचीत में गांववालों का कहना है कि इस दंगे के बाद कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी के नेताओं के इलावा कोई भी उनकी मदद के लिए नहीं आया था और इसलिए वह इस बार कन्हैया कुमार के साथ हैं।

In 2017, Baro village in Begusarai district of Bihar saw tensions between Hindus and Muslims. In a conversation with ChalChitra Abhiyaan, villagers claim that no one, other than Communist leaders intervened for peace at that time, and so they say that stand by Kanhaiya in this election.
