During a subway stop, Kramer tells Elaine they've arrived at a station famous for its gyros—and he's confident he can grab one without missing the train. The system couldn't be simpler: they're cooked, wrapped, ready to go, and exactly $3 with no change required.
Elaine questions whether he can possibly make it back in time, and her instincts prove correct. The doors close before Kramer can get aboard, leaving him outside while the hand holding his prized gyro remains inside. Then a fellow passenger sees an opportunity that's simply too good to pass up.
