The low-pressure area (LPA) being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is unlikely to develop into a tropical cyclone or affect any part of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Saturday, Aug. 15.
